Introducing Our New Icon: Wear What You Believe. Live Rooted.
Rooted in Scripture has always been about more than creating Christian shirts, mugs, and gifts. Our purpose is to create meaningful reminders of God’s truth—items that encourage us in our daily lives and give us opportunities to share our faith with others.
As our store has grown, we felt it was time for our brand icon to grow with it.
Our original tree-and-roots symbol beautifully represented spiritual growth and a life grounded in Scripture. We wanted our new icon to preserve that meaning while becoming simpler, bolder, and easier to recognize. Most importantly, we wanted the cross to stand clearly at the center.
The result is our new cross-and-roots icon, accompanied by two phrases that express the heart of our brand:
Wear What You Believe.
Live Rooted.
The Cross at the Center
The central cross is formed from three nails bound together. The nails remind us of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the grace we have received through Him.
Placing the cross at the center was intentional. Christ is not simply one part of the Christian life—He is its foundation. Our faith, hope, identity, and salvation all begin with Him.
The binding at the center also reminds us that our lives are held together by Christ. Circumstances change, seasons pass, and the world around us can feel uncertain, but the foundation of our faith remains secure.
Roots Grounded in God’s Word
The bottom of the cross flows into a strong system of roots. These roots represent a life grounded in Scripture.
Colossians 2:6–7 describes believers as walking in Christ while being rooted and built up in Him. Psalm 1 compares a faithful person to a tree planted near streams of water—stable, nourished, and fruitful.
Roots are usually hidden beneath the surface, but they determine the strength and health of everything growing above them. In the same way, our private time with God, our prayers, and our knowledge of Scripture shape the life that others eventually see.
A deeply rooted faith does not mean we will never face storms. It means we have a foundation that helps us remain standing when the storms arrive.
Leaves That Represent Living Faith
The four leaves surrounding the cross represent life, growth, renewal, and fruitfulness.
Faith is not supposed to remain still. As we grow closer to God, His Word changes how we think, how we love, how we respond to difficulty, and how we treat the people around us.
The leaves are a reminder that a life rooted in Christ should continue growing. They also connect our new icon to the tree and growth imagery that has always been part of the Rooted in Scripture identity.

What we wear can say something about who we are and what matters to us.
“Wear What You Believe” is an invitation to carry your faith confidently into everyday life. A Scripture-inspired shirt can encourage the person wearing it, but it can also reach someone else at exactly the right moment.
Sometimes a simple message on a shirt, mug, or water bottle can begin a conversation, offer hope, or remind someone that God has not forgotten them.
We do not wear our faith because it is merely a fashion statement. We wear it because it is part of who we are.

“Live Rooted” takes the message one step deeper.
Faith is not only something we display—it is something we live. It influences our choices, our relationships, our priorities, and the way we face both joyful and difficult seasons.
To live rooted means returning to God’s Word for truth, direction, encouragement, and strength. It means building our lives on something deeper than trends, feelings, or circumstances.
Wear What You Believe describes the outward expression.
Live Rooted describes the life behind it.
A New Icon, but the Same Mission
Our appearance may be evolving, but our mission has not changed.
Rooted in Scripture will continue creating faith-filled apparel and gifts designed to bring God’s Word into everyday life. We hope each item serves as more than a product. We want it to become a reminder, an encouragement, and perhaps even the beginning of a meaningful conversation.
As you begin seeing our new icon on our website, apparel, and other products, we hope it reminds you of this simple truth:
